The 21st IYPT will take
place in Croatia,
in a small picturesque town of
Trogir,
located at the coast of the Adriatic sea, 27 km to the west from the major Croatian costal town
Split.
Trogir was founded by Greeks in the 3rd century BC, and is famous by its architecture which is the best-preserved
Romanesque-Gothic complex not only in the Adriatic but in all of Central Europe. Therefore, the historic city of
Trogir was inscribed on World Heritage List
by UNESCO in 1997.
